Celebrating 60 years of community, schools and nature in 2025
In 2025, the Glendale Neighborhood Association celebrated its 60th year. Glendale is a well-established neighborhood in Southeast Madison. Henderson Elementary, Sennett Middle School, and La Follette High School are located within the neighborhood boundaries. The neighborhood also features Monona Golf Course, the oldest of Madison’s four city-owned golf courses, as well as the Edna Taylor Conservation Park. Glendale is bounded by Monona Drive on the west, Stoughton Road on the east, Femrite to the south, and the edge of the golf course to the North. The neighborhood is home to about 1,000 homes, duplexes, and apartment units.
